LOCATION/HOURS & AGE REQUIREMENT
The Social Room is in the A building.
GENERAL RULES OF USE
Everyone using the social room is responsible for their general safety, equipment use safety, and conduct of themselves and their minors. The Association assumes no liability for damages to personal items left in common areas or personal injury incurred in using the common areas.
First Come, First Use, however, please be mindful of your time and those around you that may be waiting to use this space or change the TV channel.
The Social Room can be reserved for private parties, BBC committees/activity groups or other Association sponsored events. You must submit to Management a signed written request form (available from Management and on the website’s File Management System) to reserve common rooms/areas for private parties. Reservation requests are recognized on a first-come, first-served basis and a security deposit is required.
You are responsible for room/site setup and cleanup after your personal or event use.
Please refrain from decorations that hang from the walls.
Cleanup should be obvious, in case it is not, it includes wiping up spills, sweeping the floor, ensuring the kitchen appliances used are wiped down and properly stored, coffee and tea appliances are dry, the refrigerator and oven are clean and no food left to spoil, run the garbage disposal, and remove the trash from the room.
NOTE: This room is NOT SUPPLIED with dishes, cups, flatware, serving bowls/platters, cooking pots/pans, serving utensils, napkins, etc. Bring your own in and remove them when you leave.
FURNISHINGS LIST
TV – 2 (one on each side of the room on the north wall)
Bar-height counter island – a workstation, serving counter and/or gathering place
Coffee Maker – 2 (one up to 12 cups, one up to 48 cups)
Tea Maker – 1 (electric pot)
Microwave – 1
Range/Oven – 1 (electric), oven mitts and hot pads
Ice Maker – separate machine
Refrigerator/Freezer
Patio-style Furniture
Table/Chairs – some set up, more available on request to Management
